Committee

The Parent-Teacher Association of G.T. College was founded on 12 Oct., 2003. The Executive Committee also included its first batch of teacher members besides parents. The official name of the association was later changed to Parent-Teacher Association of G.T. College Secondary Section (referred to as PTA). 

The initial aims of founding the PTA are to enhance the understanding, communication and collaboration between the parents and the College, to improve the alignment of school education and home education, and to promote the sharing of experience in upbringing children among parents.

The Executive Committee of the PTA consists of parents and teachers. They are responsible for the management and operation of the PTA. All teacher members are nominated by the College every year. On the other hand, parent members are elected by all parents in the Parents Night. Everyone in the executive committee contributes voluntarily to the daily operation of PTA from the planning of activities to execution. The Chairperson, the Vice-Chairperson of the PTA are elected by all committee members and their term of office is two years

G.T. College provides a great support to the PTA. As the school Principal (School Representative) serves as the consultant of the PTA, and the Vice-Principal serves as the Vice-Chairperson of the PTA.
